Summer Tuition Costs: fees for this session are split in two payments. First payment is due at registration and second payment is due by Monday, June 22. 30 min class: $36/month (2 payments); 45 min class: $44/month (2 payments); 60 min class: $55/month (2 payments).
Payment Options: Payment can be done online through your dance account (https://dancestudio-pro.com/online/asod) or through Venmo (@asod5678). When payment is received, the spot for your dancer will be held in the registered class(es).
Dance shoes: Each class does require a specific kind of dance shoe. If your dancer doesn't have the required shoes, dance shoes can be ordered through the dance studio. The list below shows the shoes required for each summer dance class:
Ballet – pink ballet shoes
Jazz – black jazz shoes
Hip hop – black jazz shoes
Tap - black tap shoes
Acro – no shoes required (barefoot)
Technique & Strength/Flex – lyrical or jazz shoes
Lyrical/Contemporary – nude lyrical shoes
Shoe Fitting Dates: If your dancer is unable to attend one of the shoe fitting days, please send an email and we can schedule a time that fits your schedule. Shoe fittings will not be available during class times. Summer Shoe Fittings dates: TBD and will be held at the dance studio.
Class Attire: dancers should wear anything comfortable. . . . some kids wear a leotard while others wear shorts/leggings and a tshirt. We just ask that dancers do not wear jeans and please have their hair pulled back away from their face for each class. Dancers should also bring a water bottle to each class. There is no water foundation at the dance studio.
Summer Showcase Performance: The summer session will end with a performance at the Ashland Bandshell – date & time TBD. Each class on the summer schedule (with the exception of the Technique & Strength & Flex classes) will learn one dance to perform in the summer performance. Instead of selling tickets for the performance, a $30 performance fee will be added to each family's dance account (one fee per family). This fee helps cover costs associated with the performance. This fee will be posted to dance account June 1 and will be due by July 1.
Performance Attire: For the performance, all dancers will wear black spandex shorts and matching ASOD tshirts. The black spandex shorts can be shorts dancers already own. The ASOD tshirts will be available for order through the studio beginning June 1 with orders due by Friday, June 19. Order info will be sent to all registered dancers after the season begins.
All class space is available on a first come first serve basis. The age categories listed are based on the dancer's age as of May 1, 2026. Keep in mind, the schedule might undergo adjustments post-registration based on the number of students enrolled in each class. Registration will remain open through May 1 or until a class is filled.
